Arabs and Jews workers demonstrated in first of May in front of the call centers demanding the right of trade union organization. Security men attacked the demonstrators.
On the occasion of the International Workers' Day, Dozens of Arab and Jewish workers in the town of Nazareth demonstrated in front of call centers and called for freedom of trade union organization and stop the unfair dismissal of workers who are active in organizing workers in call centers.
During this demonstration, numbers of workers were beatings and attacked by guards and security agents in call centers under the pretext that this demonstration calling for rioting and violence in the workplace, and this demonstration is illegal demonstration.
It should be noted in this context that AWU, which organized this demonstration had started a big campaign since last September to organize workers Arabs and Jews in the call centers and the establishment of independent trade committees of workers, this campaign received support at the local level and also at the level of solidarity from international unions such as FO and CGT in France and unions in Spain.
In this historical day , AWU called all friends and comrades in the international trade unions to exert every possible effort in order to continue the support and solidarity of the campaign for the establishment of workers' committees and developed to stop the exploitation of employers in call centers, especially in terms of providing assistance and support to the legal level of the workers who were detained or who have been separated from their jobs.
