A la veille de la cérémonie d’ouverture du 30ème Festival Kreol des Seychelles, l’artiste mauricien Marclaine Antoine a été nommé Ambassadeur Culturel des Seychelles, ainsi que Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidion, président de la Silversea Cruises. Selon le ministre Seychellois du Tourisme, Alain St Ange, ce sont deux personnalités qui comprennent et apprécient la culture des Seychelles et aideront à la consolider et la mettre en avant.
Ces nominations ont coïncidé avec le Festival Kreol dont l’ouverture officielle s’est tenue ce week-end à Victoria. La cérémonie d’ouverture a vu la participation d’une grande foule et la présence des représentants des îles de la région dont l’île Maurice, Rodrigues et l’île de La Réunion.
Seychelles nominated two more Cultural Ambassadors on the eve of the opening of the 30th Creole Festival: the Mauritian artist Marclaine Antoine and Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidion, President of the Silversea Cruises. According to the Seychelles minister of Tourism, Alain St Ange, these two personalities understand and appreciate the Seychelles Culture, and will definitely help its consolidation and promotion.
These nominations coincided with the Festival Kreol which official opening ceremony took place this weekend in Victoria. The ceremony saw the participation of a big crowd and the presence of representatives from Mauritius, Rodrigues and Reunion Island.
